Privacy Policy
Last updated 2 August 2026. This page explains privacy policy for AONE Chartered Accountants LLC, trading as AONE BIZ.
Who this privacy policy covers
AONE Chartered Accountants LLC, trading as AONE BIZ, is a business advisory, accounting and audit firm registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website and in the course of providing our services.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to your enquiry and deliver the services you engage us for.
- Contact details you submit — name, email address, telephone number and company name.
- The content of your enquiry, including the service you are interested in and any business details you choose to share.
- Documents you provide during an engagement, such as passport copies, trade licences and financial records.
- Technical data collected automatically, including IP address, browser type, device type and pages visited.
- Cookie data where you have consented to non-essential cookies.
How we use your information
We process personal data to respond to enquiries, provide contracted services, meet legal and regulatory obligations including anti-money-laundering requirements, maintain client records, and — where you have opted in — send you compliance updates. Importantly, we do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal effects.
Lawful basis for processing
We process data on the basis of your consent where you have submitted an enquiry or subscribed to updates; the performance of a contract where you have engaged us; compliance with legal obligations under UAE law; and our legitimate interests in operating and improving our services, balanced against your rights.
Sharing your information
In short, we do not sell personal data. We share information only where necessary: with UAE government authorities and free zone bodies to process your applications; with banks where you have asked us to support an account opening; with professional advisers bound by confidentiality; and with service providers such as secure document storage and email platforms operating under contract. Where a transfer outside the UAE is required, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
How long we keep it
Client records are retained for the periods required by UAE law — including the seven-year retention obligation applying to accounting, tax and anti-money-laundering records. Enquiry data from people who do not become clients is retained for up to twenty-four months and then deleted.
How we protect it
We apply access controls, encryption in transit, secure document handling procedures and staff confidentiality obligations. No system is entirely immune to risk, but we take our custody of client documents seriously and limit internal access to those who need it.
Your rights
Subject to applicable UAE law, you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccuracies, request deletion where we have no overriding legal obligation to retain it, object to direct marketing at any time, and withdraw consent you have previously given. In practice, email us to exercise any of these rights and we will respond within thirty days.
Cookies
This website uses essential cookies required for it to function. Where analytics or marketing cookies are used, they are set only with your consent and you can withdraw that consent at any time through your browser settings. However, disabling non-essential cookies does not affect your ability to use the site.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in law or in how we operate. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. In addition, material changes will be highlighted on this page.
