Audit, tax and accounting services for Abu Dhabi businesses

A Dubai-based chartered practice serving Abu Dhabi mainland and ADGM companies. No local office - and we would rather say so plainly. For setting up rather than compliance, see Abu Dhabi company registration.

Licensed UAE auditorsOn-site when neededFixed itemised fees

We are a Dubai-based chartered practice serving Abu Dhabi businesses. We do not maintain an Abu Dhabi office, and we would rather say that plainly than imply otherwise — what we do provide is licensed audit, corporate tax, VAT and accounting support to companies licensed in Abu Dhabi mainland and ADGM, with on-site attendance arranged when an engagement genuinely needs it.

How we work with Abu Dhabi clients

Most of what we do does not depend on being in the same building. Bookkeeping, corporate tax filing, VAT returns and advisory work are handled remotely as standard, for clients across every emirate.

Where physical presence matters — audit fieldwork, a year-end inventory count, a bank meeting, a handover from a previous provider — we travel. That is built into the fee rather than added afterwards, and we tell you at quoting stage which parts of the engagement need it.

If a provider in Abu Dhabi can do the same work at the same standard for less, we will say so. What we will not do is claim a local presence we do not have.

What we handle for Abu Dhabi businesses

ADGM companies

Abu Dhabi Global Market runs its own common-law framework, its own companies regulations and its own regulator in the FSRA. Audited accounts are required, and expectations are stricter than in a mainstream free zone.

The registered auditor list for ADGM is narrower than elsewhere, so confirm eligibility before appointing anyone — the same discipline that applies in DMCC. Our guide to DIFC and ADGM requirements covers what differs.

ICV and government tenders

Abu Dhabi is where ICV matters most. ADNOC and its operating companies weight the In-Country Value score in tender evaluation, and main contractors pass the requirement down their supply chains.

The score is calculated from audited financial statements, which means classification in your accounts affects it as much as your actual local spend does. Local supplier spend recorded under a generic overhead heading does not count toward the category that would have scored. See ICV certification and score improvement.

Corporate tax for Abu Dhabi companies

Corporate tax is federal, so the rules are identical wherever you are licensed. Registration is mandatory, the return is due nine months after your financial year end, and free zone entities including ADGM can access 0% only as a Qualifying Free Zone Person.

What differs by emirate is licensing and renewal, not tax. If someone offers you an Abu Dhabi-specific corporate tax treatment, treat that as a reason for caution.

Frequently asked questions

No. We are based in Dubai with a second office at Sharjah Media City, and we serve Abu Dhabi clients from Dubai. We would rather be straight about that than imply a presence we do not have.

Yes. We are UAE-licensed auditors and act for mainland companies across the emirates. Fieldwork is arranged on site where the engagement requires it.

ADGM maintains its own registered auditor list, which is narrower than a mainstream free zone. Send us your licence and we will confirm eligibility before quoting.

No. Corporate tax is federal and applies identically across the UAE. Only licensing and renewal requirements differ by emirate.

Yes. ICV certification is derived from audited accounts, so we handle the audit and the certification together - which is where most recoverable score is found.

Most work is handled remotely with video calls. Where on-site attendance genuinely matters, we travel, and that is priced into the engagement rather than added later.
